These general terms and conditions govern the services offered by Porbeagle Spirit, a diving club specialized in porbeagle shark observation and the scientific exploration of its natural habitat. Any reservation implies full and unconditional acceptance of the terms set out below.

 

1. General information

Activity: Organization of diving trips in natural environments, marine environmental awareness, participation in scientific programs.

2. Registration conditions

Participants must be at least 18 years old (or be accompanied by an adult with written parental authorization).

A medical certificate stating no contraindication to diving, issued within the last year, may be required.

The required diving level is specified for each trip (e.g. Level 2, Open Water, etc.).

Civil liability and/or diving insurance is strongly recommended.

3. Reservations and payment

Reservations can be made via the website, by email, or by phone.

A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking.

A reservation is considered confirmed only after receipt of payment and all required information.

4. Prices

Prices are stated in euros, all taxes included.
They include supervision, equipment if specified, and any scientific activities.
Porbeagle Spirit reserves the right to modify prices at any time; however, services already booked will be invoiced at the rate in force at the time of confirmation.

5.Cancellation and refunds

6. Cancellation or modification by Porbeagle Spirit

We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a trip in the event of:

Unfavorable weather conditions
Insufficient number of participants
Safety or technical reasons

In such cases, a full refund or a rescheduling at no additional cost will be offered.

7. Liability and safety

Participant safety is our top priority.

The instructor reserves the right to deny access to a dive if a participant’s behavior or health condition poses a risk to their own safety or that of the group.

Any inappropriate behavior or failure to respect the environment or safety rules may result in exclusion without refund.

8. Citizen science and observation

Porbeagle Spirit integrates citizen science programs into its trips. Participants are informed that they may contribute to data collection, photography, or observation reports, on a voluntary, ethical, and non-binding basis.

 

9. Intellectual property

All content (texts, photos, logo, etc.) published on the website or Porbeagle Spirit materials is protected by copyright law. Any reproduction or use without prior written authorization is prohibited.

10. Personal data

Porbeagle Spirit is committed to complying with the GDPR. Personal information collected during reservations is used solely for the purpose of providing the service and is never shared with third parties. Users may request access to, modification of, or deletion of their data at any time.

11. Disputes and applicable law

These terms and conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought. Failing that, the matter will be brought before the competent courts.
